THE ROLE

We are seeking a resourceful, energetic and motivated Graphic Designer. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to express (and hone) their creative talent in ways that engage and inspire Caribbean distributors and international suppliers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the Creative Director on a wide range of projects to develop innovative graphic design solutions that achieve brand objectives across the region
  • Collaborate, brainstorm and strategize with the Creative Director
  • Work both independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with various company personnel while ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
  • Participate in training activities related to graphic design
  • With direction from the Creative Director, generate or edit content with ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
  • On approval, finalize content and the uploading process of all project material (utilizing best practices)
  • Liaise with third party sourcing agents, point of sale material providers and printing companies to carry out company projects


REQUIREMENTS

  • Familiarity with design programs (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Working knowledge of design principals
  • Exceptional attitude & willingness to learn
  • Creative inclinations and innovative design skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
  • Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills
  • Strong professional demeanor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
  • Spanish or French language skills is a plus
