THE ROLE

We are seeking a talented Sales & Marketing management professional to lead and implement strategy for our portfolio of products and to manage budgets and supplier relations. You will also be responsible for sales channel management and customer relations and to lead, motivate and inspire our proactive sales and marketing teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead in all aspects of people management on the sales and marketing team including hiring, training and evaluating team members

- Establish and maintain exceptional relations with all Suppliers and Customers

- Define and communicate brand strategy to improve market share and profitability within budget

- Pursue and sign on new portfolio opportunities in line with the positioning and growth objectives of the company

- Develop and deliver budgeted fiscal sales and margin forecasts

- Effectively communicate with the sales and marketing team and interdepartmentally to ensure a collaborative approach to overall business goals

- Actively participate in events and organisations, locally and internationally, in the best interest of the company

REQUIREMENTS

- At least 5 years senior sales and/or marketing management experience

- Energetic and self-motivated with effective leadership and organisational skills

- Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills

- Good judgement and comprehensive decision-making ability

- Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills

- Bachelor’s degree in a business related field would be an asset

- Knowledge of wines/spirits and/or consumer health would be an asset
