Rapaura Springs continues its strong track record with the 2025 Reserve Sauvignon Blanc, recently awarded 92 points from Wine Spectator, marking the second-highest score for the vintage.

This recognition adds to an already impressive run for the wine, which has now achieved 92 points or higher from Wine Spectator for six consecutive years—a rare level of consistency in one of the world’s most competitive Sauvignon Blanc categories.

The 2025 vintage has also received strong recognition across leading critics and competitions, including:

  • 95 points – International Wine Challenge
  • 95 points – New Zealand International Wine Show
  • 93 points – Cameron Douglas MS
  • Double Gold – CWSA
  • 90 points – James Suckling

A Family-Owned Marlborough Estate

Rapaura Springs is proudly family-owned and operated by two Marlborough families — the Neylons and the Wiffins — whose roots in the region stretch back decades. The Neylon family were early pioneers in Marlborough’s export industries before establishing vineyards in the Rapaura and Dillons Point sub-regions in the 1980s, later partnering with the Wiffin family to create Rapaura Springs.

Today the winery remains firmly in family hands, with the families closely involved in the business and committed to producing wines that express the purity and energy of Marlborough.
