Today Stansfeld Scott Inc. manages and markets a leading international portfolio of fine wines and spirits through a network of more than 130 independent distributors in more than 33 countries across the Caribbean.
The evolution started in 1980, when the present management retooled, the Barbadian company, Stansfeld Scott & Co. Ltd. as the only specialist wine and spirits distributor. The finest portfolio was uncompromisingly sought and the company earned a reputation as the leading marketer supported by a dynamic and ambitious team. The organization continued to diversify and extend its geographic coverage. In 1993 Stansfeld Scott Inc., a Florida-based company, was formed to complement the efforts of Stansfeld Scott, Barbados. Both companies continued to grow, diversifying into the health supplements and venturing into specialty wine retailing under the banner of Wine World.
