The Key Account Manager is a proactive and dynamic sales and marketing professional, based in Mexico, who promotes a portfolio of wines in select LATAM markets. This role will be responsible for working closely with our regional Distributors to inspire and motivate their teams to grow sales and market share.
Responsibilities
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel within a specified region
- Analyze market opportunities and develop strategic plans that capitalize on growth opportunities
- Review and recommend distribution partners to further develop the Stansfeld Scott portfolio
- Develop key account relationships that deliver measurable results
- Travel frequently for market visits and trade events
- Ensure management is kept well informed on business opportunities and updates
- Stay abreast of industry and market trends and the macroeconomics of the countries assigned
- Prepare and monitor fiscal forecasts and implement marketing programs within fiscal budgets
- Facilitate brand training and educational sessions for customers and sales teams
Requirements
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
- Experience in sales and marketing of wines and spirits
- Good technical understanding of wines, WSET Level 2 or higher preferred
- Exposure to international business practices and travel for professional purposes
- Energetic self-starter with integrity and a willingness to ‘roll up your sleeves’
- Ability to inspire, educate, and motivate a team to achieve established goals
