Dominica was one of the most devastated Caribbean Nations after Category 5 Hurricane Maria made landfall last September and the island is still a long way from fully recovering economically. For Jolly’s Pharmacy, resilience is key, and they showcased their commitment to their customers by hosting their first ever Seven Seas Child Wellness Fair.

On a warm sunny day in April, Jolly’s Pharmacy held their first ever Child Wellness Fair at the peaceful Botanical Gardens in Roseau. The main objective of the fair was to celebrate children in an effort to lessen the trauma and stress brought on by Hurricane Maria while also promoting and educating the public on the Seven Seas Portfolio.

Children between the ages 3 to 12 years enjoyed a bouncing castle, lime and spoon races, sack races, treasure hunts, face painting, fitness sessions, and education and trivia sessions. The event was an opportunity for parents and children to have fun with a special focus on health and wellness. For Jolly’s pharmacy, wellness is a philosophy that should begin in childhood.

The general public loved the concept, the activities, and the venue. The Seven Seas Child Wellness Fair was indeed a success.
