It is with great excitement that Stansfeld Scott is now responsible for managing the Maison Ferrand portfolio, which includes Plantation Rum, Pierre Ferrand Grande Champagne Cognac, and Artisanal Citadelle Gin, throughout the Caribbean region.

Maison Ferrand is one of the world’s premier boutique producers of fine spirits distributed in more than 68 countries throughout the world. Maison Ferrand has offices and production premises at Château de Bonbonnet in Ars, France and owns West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados (the largest rum producer on the island), as well as one third of the renowned National Rums of Jamaica Ltd., the holding company of Monymusk, Long Pond and Inswood.

Plantation Rum is an award-winning collection of rums with a rich history and close connection to the Caribbean. Most of the rums are double-aged – once in their country of origin and then a second time in Cognac casks in France. The award-winning portfolio includes: Xaymaca Special Dry, Plantation O.F.T.D. Overproof, Pineapple Stiggins’ Fancy, 3 Stars White, Original Dark, 5 Year Old, XO 20th Anniversary and a group of single-country vintage dated rums.

"Plantation Rum and its sister spirits are a natural fit for Stansfeld Scott’s portfolio. We are very excited about the potential of Plantation across the Caribbean region given its unique portfolio, its premium quality and international success," notes Brian Cabral, Stansfeld Scott's CEO. "Our vision for the brand is for Plantation to become one of the first Caribbean rum brands with prominence in every market. To do so will take focus, solid strategic thinking, and brand investment."
