Lascelles'  “Distilled & Chilled” is a Great Success

Lascelles Wines & Spirits annual event, “Distilled & Chilled”, was a great success again this year with events in Kingston and Montego Bay. 

 The Kingston event was on Tuesday, Nov 6th with seminars hosted during the day and the grand event the same evening at Terra Nova Hotel.  For the day activities, Cary Kurz, Director of Wines & Spirits Distell USA, hosted two comprehensive seminars about South African wines focusing on Two Oceans, Nederburg and Chamdor, the non-alcoholic sparkling.  Shari Lobo, Regional Portfolio Manager for Constellation Brands for Stansfeld Scott, also presented to the trade for Hardy’s wines, the 2nd Most Powerful Wine Brand in the World in a study executed by Intangible Business.  The evening event was well attended with key personalities of the trade and local Jamaican society.  The night event was featured on page 2 of the November 7th Observer newspaper. 

 On Thursday, November 8th, Lascelles Wines & Spirits extended the event to include Montego Bay for the first year.  Half Moon Conference Centre was the venue for ‘Distilled & Chilled’ wine training seminars for Distell and Hardy’s wines during the day and also the location for the grand evening experience.  Key customers and consumers were invited and by all accounts, the North Coast event was also a success.
