This year, Haliborange was the sponsor of the ‘Kids for Life’ event. The aim was to increase the awareness of the Haliborange product line and more importantly the benefits of Omega-3 for both children and adults. Leading up to the event, the Haliborange name and products were advertised both in the press and television media which included a slot in the ‘Good Morning Barbados’ show where the event was promoted.

 On Sunday October 21st, 2007 parents and their children came with their “game face” on to attend the ‘Haliborange Kids for Life’ event on Boatyard Beach.  The Haliborange Kids for Life was made up of 5 races which included Mother and Daughter, Father and Son, and a series of sprints.   

Competitors upon registration were given a Seven Seas “goody bag” which included : Haliborange T-shirt, a bottle of the Haliborange Omega-3 chewy capsules, Haliborange information leaflet, Haliborange Colouring Book with crayons, Haliborange pencil case with an eraser; 2 pencils; ruler and bookmark all branded with Haliborange and everything placed in a branded Seven Seas bag.

 With numerous competitors and hundreds more spectators, the event was full of excitement, fun and applause for the children and parents that competed in the event which culminated at sunset on the beach. Every child was a winner being awarded a medal, however, the first place winners from each category were also awarded a “Haliborange” gift basket which included products for both children and adults.
